About IFFB

From March 23 - 27 2011 the third edition of the International Film Festival Breda will take place. The festival focuses on shifting borders in cinematic culture and the influence of visual culture. Cinema meets video, internet, photography, fashion, performance, art and so on and thus changes to new and exciting ways far beyond traditional film.

The combination of fresh European independent film, an extensive shorts programme, experimental works, lectures, workshops and seminars gives our audience a clearer insight on what contemporary visual culture is and will be in times to come. For five days films will be screened at our two main theatres, Chassé Cinema and Pathé Breda, and side events will presented throughout the historic city.

The International Film Festival Breda is a melting pot of world: audiences, film makers, artists and the creative industry come together to be inspired. We aim to show film as an experience, an experience not to be missed.
